PROJECTS

CaseX is an interactive web application and database solution optimized for the management of physical case data. CaseX is currently being developed in partnership with the Los Angeles Police Department Homicide Library Unit for the LMU Senior Capstone Project.

Trailze is a community-based trail discovery and information sharing app that allows users to post real-time updates of their current hiking adventure. This app offers live navigation so that users can track their progress as they continue to hike. Hikers can place markers on the trail to indicate hazards and features such as bears, fallen trees, bird-nests, mud, waterfalls, and ice. Hiker profiles will allow Trailze to personalize their experience by providing them with curated hikes and trails that relate to their interests. Users are able to unlock achievements based off of elevation, distance, or trails hiked which can lead to free gear and/or trips through partnerships and sponsored events.

Queen is compiler that combines JavaScript ES6 with OCaml's pattern-matching and first-class functions. Coders everywhere can create and complete projects while enjoying the expressiveness of emojis.

AutomoSeal is an infinite runner built in Unity, using C#. This is our final project for our Game Design course at LMU.

RESEARCH FELLOW

Our research project, comprised of a group of three, sought to determine if small-group mentorship, alongside instruction of computer science and electrical engineering related activities, improved young girls' interest in these fields. We explored this by leading eight female eight graders through five different coding and engineering projects, gauging their interest throughout the day's activities. We were creative in developing activities the girls would enjoy and learn from.
